I wonder if it's possible to tattoo scar tissue.

I don't have any tattoos, but somehow marking the spot seems like it might be appropriate.

How about a tiny butterfly? A thing of beauty to replace the little "worm" that falls away ......

That's a nice idea. Am also considering flames, representing purification and also destruction/regeneration.
